I soon found out that Russ had been on Ozzie and Harriet, Gunsmoke and other television shows. He was also famous for his radio show "Let's Pretend With Uncle Russ".
I get together with Russ and Karen Gordon just about every week at Denny's for lunch to discuss our plans for our films.
Russ is a great guy and I am proud to call him friend.
