I met Jamie Bartley when I was working at Sykes back in Eastern Kentucky. Jamie was on my team and we became good friends.
I enjoyed playing practical jokes on Jamie and would try really hard to be serious so that I would sound convincing.
I remember talking to Jamie about God and he started going to church. I told him to call me if he ever decided to give his life to God.
One Sunday afternoon Jamie called me at home and said "I did it!" I wasn't sure what he meant and then suddenly I realized what he meant.
I was really proud of him. Jamie moved on to another job and I moved to California. I haven't heard from him since.
