While living in White Plains, Ky, I met Crystal Knowles. She was a friend of my sister's, but we soon became good friends too. Crystal's mother taught at the elementary school in White Plains.

Crystal and I used to talk on the phone a lot, and in my Senior year at high school, we had art class together with Troy Murphy.

Crystal and I also did some crazy things together. We would go to the church and Crystal would play the piano and make up crazy songs. We also made some prank phone calls to some of our friends.

Crystal kept in touch over the years, even when we moved to California.

Crystal married Larry Halida and they live in Western Ky with their two daughters.

I hadn't seen Crystal in years until the fall of 2000 when we had lunch with her and her family while visiting in Western Ky.

Then in the fall of 2001 we were passing through town and I gave Crystal a call. She was surprised to hear from us. We went over to her house for a visit and the boys enjoyed playing outside in her yard.
