The Big 'Ol Lips that Oozed Dedication.
ANALYSIS: Maureen has a fixation with her own large lips. You will undoubtedly see this pattern in her work. This particular piece plays on how her lips effect her wants and needs. She is claiming dedication to the way of life her lips provide. She wants retribution for having to carry around these abnormal lips throughout her entire life. |
There's a Monster in My Closet, but I Fear Only Commitment.
ANALYSIS: I think you know what
this one means without me spelling
it out for you. If not, let me
just tell you that Maureen had a
monster under her bed until she
was 14 years old.
This monster was very different
from other monsters in that,
instead of trying to eat her,
or even scare her, he tried to
court Maureen.
He wanted "FUN" Maureen for his wife.
We think this had something to do
with the monster's attraction to her
abnormaly large lips.
NOTE: Don't mention her lips
or the monster, when you see Maureen out.
She'll kook.
