Once, in Middle-earth, two friends were fishing at a lake. One friend got pulled under by a fish he had caught. While under, he found a ring. He brought it up, only to find his friend trying to choke him to get the ring. He did.
The story of the ring,takes place in Middle-earth, during the third age. --Middle-earth had all kinds of beings. Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, Ents, Men, Wizards, and many more
Bilbo Baggins was traveling Middle-earth, when he came upon a ring, and a good friend named Gandalf. Gandalf was a wizard, and Bolbo was a Hobbit. Gandalf knew little about the ring, and its great power.
Bilbo soon meets a little, weak man, named Golum. Golum was the original ring bearer. He stole the ring from his friend, after killing him.
Golum wants the ring back, but Bilbo wont give it up. He returns to his home in the Shire. He lives in Hobbiton. He has a birthday party, and tells everyone he is leaving. Not where, but he puts on the ring, and disapears.
He is told by Gandalf, that he has to give the ring to his nephew, Frodo Baggins. Frodo is told the evil of the ring. He now has to destroy it. It can only be destroyed in Mordor. That is a pretty far place.
He meets up with a few friends, and they finally make it to Rivendell. There, they meet a man. His name is Aragorn. He helps them on their quest. They meet many more companions along the way.
They make it to Mordor, after about a year. They were in many wars, and battles along the way.
