The Archive of Dustin's Villains
And Evil Grinned...
These are the truly evil, the truly malevolent of all Dustin's creations. They have been a part of the campgain for variably short or long durations.
- Zangulus - Anyone could tell you more. Ask them and they will. Zangulus is a creation of Richter and his efforts to return to the world from the void. Though that hope has been forsaken, Zangulus remains. Already his conquest of the world has begun. With his Void Mage ally, Zangulus' first target is the Grey Elven nation. As to who will follow remains to be seen. Played by Sam.
- Chilto Mortal's-Bane - A Mesomaster, a thing created by the Dark Lords in order to act as their tool, it shows nothing but contempt for the living and is unquestionably deadly in an instant, there is no beating around the bush with this one.
- The Blunt Doom - The malevolent beast in stone form that has haunted the Party's efforts since the Keep. Now in a heap of shattered rock at the bottom of a great pit, its fate was brought about by the physical altercationist Thanatos and his efforts to destroy it once and for all.
- Greg - The Priest of War that was in charge of the orcs that attempted to burn and destroy the beautiful forest of Yggdrassil.
- Dosciuss - The Death Priest who the Party fought within the confines of Yggdrassil's walls and was only brought to his knees only by the combined efforts of Mikhael and Ayla.
- Carston - The human that lead the armies and consequent assault upon the forest. When Mathania loosed the poisoned arrow from her bow, he landed on the ground with a whisp of wind and the subsequent disappearance of Mulduss.
- Legion - The Aspect of a dead god, Legion retained all of its former power and is one mind inhabiting many bodies. When encountering a person talented or not in their own right, Legion "joins" with them to absorb their power and skill. Less the villain, more the Destroyer.
- Korronoss - The so-called "Slayer of David" Korronoss is a skilled fighter whose talent with the sword surpasses even Alora's skill with the blade. Finally killed by the combined efforts of the party, it was only due to Mikhael's uncontrollable rage that he was truly beaten. The repercussions, as it stands, may yet play a major role in the future.
As Honour Followed Them...
There has never been a soul that did not possess some measure of honour at one point and these - the Villains who embody that - have retained that through their actions and words. Essentially honourable and good in spirit, if not in action, these Villains have become the antithesis of the common antagonist. All having their own stories, they are few in number, but the weight of their actions and words have given them a cause to live for.
And, in some cases, die for.
- Mulduss - A villain only in name - not spirit - Mulduss was bound to protect Carston and summoned a golem to defend his master. Releasing the party only when Carston's life was at stake, this man was honour-bound to grant the Party passage out of the camp. Disappearing once Carston died, he is now lost to the threads of Dustin's Machiavellian web.
