    Naihanchi Shodan

    Start in open leg natural stance. On command move left foot to informal attention stance and bow (balls of feet open).

  1. Fist in face with open hands. Balls of feet close
  2. Move through crouching horse across to right (left leg in front) then move right foot across
    to right into horse riding stance, at the same time execute a right ridge hand strike to temple.
  3. Right palm to left roundhouse elbow strike 12 o’clock.
  4. Right upward facing fist to right hip. Left fist above right facing downwards.
  5. Left gedan barrai to groin at 9 o'clock.
  6. Left upward facing fist to left hip. Right downwards fist out in front, elbow bent 90 degrees.
  7. Move across to left through crouching horse (right leg in front), left front snap kick to groin,
    then move left foot into horse riding stance.
  8. Right backfist strike to head at 12 o'clock, then right straight fist punch to groin at same
    time execute left block punch to left side of your head, then left bottom fist strike to neck
    12 o’clock at same time bring right downward facing fist under left elbow.
  9. (Wave kick) Left instep on foot strikes point above knee inside right leg (spleen 10
    mapping), right augmented forearm block moves across to left (fist facing down),
    place foot down.
  10. (Wave kick) Right instep on foot strikes point above knee inside left leg (spleen 10
    mapping), right augmented forearm block moves across to right (fist facing up),
    place foot down.
  11. Right upward facing fist to right hip. Left downward facing fist above right. Pause.
  12. Double fist strike to 6 o'clock side. KIAI.
  13. Left closed fist comes down under right arm then back up to ridge hand strike. Right fist
    facing up to right hip.
  14. Open palm left hand to right roundhouse elbow strike 11 o’clock.
  15. Left upward facing fist to left hip, right downward facing fist above left.
  16. Right gedan barrai to groin at 3 o'clock.
  17. Right upward facing fist to right hip, left downward facing fist out in front, elbow bent 90
    degrees.
  18. Move through crouching horse across to right (left leg in front), right front snap kick to
    groin, then move right foot across into horse riding stance.
  19. Left backfist strike to head at 12 o'clock, then left straight fist punch to groin at same time
    execute right block punch to right side of your head, then right bottom fist strike to side of
    neck at 12 o’clock, at same time bring left downward facing fist under right elbow.
  20. (Wave kick) Right instep on foot strikes point above knee inside left leg (spleen 10
    mapping), left augmented forearm block moves across to right (fist facing down),
    place foot down.
  21. (Wave kick) Left instep on foot strikes point above knee inside right leg (spleen 10
    mapping), right augmented forearm block moves across to left (fist facing up),
    place foot down.
  22. Left upward facing fist to left hip. Right downward facing fist above left. Pause.
  23. Double fist strike to 3 o'clock side. KIAI.
  24. Right foot moves next to left foot.Feet move, heels together II V II. Fist in face with open hands.
  25. Fists to hips then down to groin, left moves to open leg natural.
