Isuzu has a long series of futuristic sport-utility vehicles to its credit, and the VX-2 is the latest in that line. A sporty four-seater, the VX-2 features aluminum components in its all-independent suspension, high-efficiency shock absorbers, 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, four-wheel drive, and a high-performance version of the 3.2-liter V6 engine used in the Isuzu Rodeo and the new Amigo.
Isuzu introduced the VX-2, an extreme sports vehicle concept being seen for the first time on this continent, at the 1998 North American International Auto Show. It also introduced the all- new 1998 Amigo and displayed a restyled Trooper. The VX-2 is a study in sharp edges and taut lines. It features on-road amenities and off-road capabilities.
