Sexual assault victim of Lama
On 30 July 2011 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers sexually assaulted a 15 years old indigenous Buddhist girl in Lama of Bandarban district. The settlers attacked the indigenous people who went there to rescue the girl. The Muslim settlers murdered 3 indigenous Buddhist people.

Bengali settlers rape and murder a Tripura girl in Matiranga

On 15 November 2010 Muslim settlers rape and murder a Tripura girl named Ms Koshmoti Tripura (14) s/o Shanto Kumar Tripura of village Brajendra Karbari Para of Matiranga, Khagrachari. Her mutilated body was recovered from a jungle in Matiranga under Khagrachari district on 22 November 2010.

Ms Koshmoti Tripura went missing on 15 November while working in a paddy field near their house in the village of Brajendra Karbari Para. Her mutilated body was recovered one week later from a jungle.

Police arrested Mohamed Bablu, Mohamed Shafique and Mohamed Jafar of Palashpur, Matiranga. A case was filed with Matiranga police station in this connection. The police sent her body to Khagrachari Sadar Hospital for autopsy on 23 November 2010.
