Sultana Kamal

Sultana Kamal is an advocate human rights in Bangladesh. She was an adviser to the interim caretaker government of Bangladesh. She resigned after a series of disagreements with interim caretaker government. She took part in the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.

On 2 August 2008 the Muslim settlers blockaded former advisor to the caretaker government of Bangladesh and eminent human rights activist Ms. Sultana Kamal while she was returning from Sajek after distribution of relief to the victims of Sajek arson attack at Baghaihat bazaar under Sajek union of Baghaichari upazila in Rangamati district.
