Bangladesh army detain an indigenous man in Rangamati

On 4 July 1991, Bangladesh army from Rangamati Brigade HQ led by Capt. Jahangir Hossain and Capt. Anis arrested Mr. Monotosh Chakma, son of Mr. Ashtik Moni Chakma of East Tribal Adam, Banarupa, Rangamati.

In the morning on that day, Bangladesh army came to the residence of Mr. Monotosh Chakma and forcibly took him to Rangamati Brigade HQ without showing any warrant. His father was present at that time and asked Bangladesh army to show warrant, but did not get any reply.

As of writing this report, Mr. Monotosh Chakma was still detained by Bangladesh army. It's feared that Bangladesh army tortured him while in detention.
