Chanchala Chakma victim of Bangladesh Police firing
On 30 June 2013 Bangladesh police opened fire on indigenous Buddhist people in south Khabongpujya area of Khagrachari district. An indigenous Buddhist woman identified as Chanchala Chakma (50) was seriously injured by the rubber bullets.

Bangladesh army open fire on an indigenous boy in Baghaichari

On 8 August 1988, Bangladesh army of 41 EBR from Durchari Camp led by Major Firdaus shot and seriously wounded an indigenous boy in Baghaichari, Rangamati district. The victim is:

  1. Master Paranmay Chakma (15), son of Mr. Pradeep Kumar Chakma of Sukna Chari, Bara Harina Mouza in Barkal.
