I can see the pebbles quite clearly from where you stand. You are satisfied with just getting your toes wet. Scared to leave the shore?
Or do you have to ask for permission first? You would not know when to start swimming the water is so full of life that you would drown. I am out deep and so are my realms. There is
bewilderment out here! Mysteries revealed! Oyster pearls hidden, just waiting to be found! You are content with your sandstone -a simple blend of quartz and feldspar I find diamonds, rubies and emeralds along with handfuls of opals
and gold! I leave behind me a trail of pixie dust, residue left from my dreams All you have known is grey and toupe. I watch you play with a sponge you sit and play in a puddle It is a game to you I see you squeeze it and watch the water as it trickles down your hand. It then becomes dry and fickle I run out to show
you my jewels and offer them to you all in good faith. You take them and smile, then toss them aside and continue to play with your sponge. For years I have given you priceless and rare jewels and for years you have piled them up disregarded and neglected them You are content with your sponges I will no longer show or give you any more of my jewels
I am heading back to the water where I will float away. When you no longer find fulfillment in your toys you too will become brown a sponge You lived in shallow water, thus shallow water you became. But I, I have grown into the widest and deepest of oceans. I am a rare jewel I am the pearl
