passing ports for pleasure

I'm going to Jakarta
Simply because I've never been there before
I've got my sarong, a tank top, flip flops,
Bead necklaces and an over the shoulder bag
I'll fit in right?
All the other travelers steeped in a culture not their own
Painted by the sun, tainted by their dollar's superiority
Eating at Mickie Dees
Because they can't pronounce the food being sold from a cart
It's place where women are expendable
Being exported as maids
But imported as slaves
Fighting for a decent wage
But I'm white and I've got money
So let me settle for six months
And after I leave,
I will have left behind Big Mac wrappers
And Starbucks take away cups
For you to clean up after me.
