Bryan Harpel's Javascript Page

List of Links for Assignment Pages:

Asmt 1 A Study on web scripting languages- This also includes information on Javascript.
Asmt 2 A mouseover effect is added to the index of my school's webpage.
Asmt 3 Notice the dictionary definitions in the status bar.
Asmt 4 This checks for the flash plugin. Basically just from the book.
Asmt 5 A nice photo album. Javascript works here nicely. (although the obligatory banners can be annoying here. Just click the banner ads off and enjoy the album.)
Asmt 6 I made a frameset with a different message for each day of the week in the top frame.
Asmt 7 Back to the Frontier Middle School Page. Check out the faster mouseovers in the index and the scroll bar message as your mouse wanders the options.
Asmt 8 A fairly simple form to fill out. Features: A thank you page is brought up with a succesful submit, and attention was paid to where the blinking cursor is located.
Asmt 9 Based on a kid's book, these names are kinda fun.
Exercise 10 This is from an inclass activity. It still has a bug or two to work out. Purpose: set and read cookies.
Asmt 10 An exercise in setting cookies. There's still a bug to work out here too, but take a look.
Asmt 11 A look at div tags and the differences/similarites of DOMs Netscape and Internet Explorer.
Asmt 12 This page uses a browser sensor and has a lot of interactivity. This page uses a lot of code from .js files.
Final Project Using the school page as a final project allowed me to put what I've been learning to use. The welcome is friendlier now and the countdown seems to work. The countdown will disappear on the first day of school.
