Bro. Antony Pius's Family

“Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee… Isaiah 43:4”

He that is mastered by Christ is the master of every circumstances. If you would go through this family’s testimony, you would irrevocably agree that Christ has mastered their lives, which has made them, a vessel of beauty and honour.

As predestined by God Bro. Antony Pius and Sis. Jeraline Viji delightfully entered into Holy matrimony on 7th Sep 1998. Since then they invited Christ as the Head of their house, by which they are now leading a life of witness, for the glory of God.

Bro.Pius glorifies his Master saying; “ I ascribe everything that has happened in my life to the grace of God. Though I was born to Godly Christian Parents, I only grew up as a worldly youngster. But Christ had His own plans in my life and hence He brought me into this wilderness of Kuwait in 1993. Things were not too rosy as I thought, and it was only during my job hunt my heart was totally broken and I came to know the importance of the Great Master. With tears I sought the Lord for His aid and as the saying goes, “ The glory of tomorrow is rooted in the drudgery of today” the Lord honoured my tears and they became mountains of blessing in my later years. He gave me a very good job in line with my computer profession and there, God always helped me to be in the good looks of my seniors. Al glory to God on high!. I thank God for giving me prayerful parents whose prayers was a great blessing to my weary soul. Moreover God gifted me with a prayerful Child of God as my wife and her entry into my life brought great blessings and guidance along with it. We equally long to serve the Lord to our able capacity.

I’m grateful to God for implanting me in this blessed church, where we are strictly guided to mend our ways in the sight of God, through which, we are enabled to attain greater blessings both in the spiritual as well as the secular realm.

“ In all things God works for good of those who love Him, whom He has called according to His purpose”—Rom 8:28

In the light of the above given word, Sis. Jeraline Viji proclaims God’s goodness as, “ When we surrender our lives and faith upon God, everything HE would perform in our lives would be too good beyond our expectations. Moreover by His acts of His unfathomable love, HE fills our hearts with overwhelming Joy. My parents being children of God were usually over protective in regards to everything concerned in my life. But when the time for my marriage came they left the cause totally at the Master’s feet. My great Master mastered everything in my life and honoured my parent’s faith by giving me a God fearing husband for which I’ll bless the Lord all my being.

Later when I was getting ready to come to Kuwait, enlightening dreams of getting a good job was hovering in my mind ceaselessly. During the same time God gave me a message through the above verse (Rom 8:28). I clearly understood that there would be a delay in getting a job, according to God’s plan. But my human heat could not accept this and sorrow flooded my soul, since I was coming here in visit visa and moreover I was supposed to get a job within a month. I was pondering over the delay with a constant “ Why” in my mind.

But by God’s strength when I crucified the question “ Why” Christ started to do everything in His own time so beautifully. He was with me in those days of suffering, comforting me through His words and songs everyday. He spoke to me through the pastors of our church when my heart was thirsting for His promise. God wonderfully gave me very good job according to our wish and once again He made us to say “ In will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”—Ps 34:1.

It is sure that Christ has been the Pilot of their lives at all circumstances and hence we pray to that Pilot to shower His manifold blessings in their lives, in the years to come.

May their longing to serve the Lord, come to pass at the appointed time, for His glory. Amen!!
