Bro. G. Prabakaran's Family

“ I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.( Psalms 40:1& 5)."

Obedience and faith can be said as two sides of a Coin. Blessings springing forth out of this obedience and faith are always infinite and inestimable and this fact is crystal clear in our Dear Brother’s testimony. Our Brother G. Prabhakaran well known with the nickname “Mr.Madras”

Bro.Prabhakar exalts God saying “Dear Brother and Sisters in Christ, I greet you al in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to share briefly the goodness and wonderful things that the Lord has done unto my family and me. I thank the Lord for His abundant grace. I was born in a Hindu rational revolutionary family. My father was a strong follower of E.Ve. Ra. Periyar, a strong Nasthikar (no God Policy Follower). But my mother is a believer and she used to teach us to know the love of the Lord. Because of our fervent prayers and zeal towards the Lord, myfather accepted the Lord at the time of his sickness unto death.

I came to Kuwait in Dec 9,1985, by the grace of God. At the initial stage I have attended many churches. Finally the Lord enabled me to attend our church in Jan1987. I could witness many miracles in my life after I obeyed the Lord’s word. Moreover I could see a real change in my spiritual life. Then I received the anointing of the Holy Spirit and tongues after 60 days of fasting and prayer. I took Baptism in April14, 1990. I started growing in the Lord and I thank Pastor Shunmugam for his useful teaching and preaching for the growth of my spiritual life.

With this result God has secured my family from all evils and jealous spirit. I used to start all my work only after prayer. I have one son and two daughters. I taught my children to the maximum with the knowledge of his understanding. Frequently I used to help poor people, blinds, old age people, and sick people with my food preparation.

So far I have not constructed a house of my own. I kept my desire at the Lord’s feet and I believe that the Lord will provide a prayerful house to dwell as well as to prepare us for his coming. The Lord Who led us so far will lead us even the days to come. Our God is able to lead us not to worry and tremble for anything. Really I thank the Lord for His Wonderful leading to run our family in His faith and to bring our children in a Christian way in the midst of my jealous relatives and society at large.
