GameBoy
- Console Information

Colour GameBoy GameBoy Logo

The Nintendo GameBoy was released in 1989, and since then has become the most successful handheld ever made, and really was the only Pocket Handheld, which can fit in your pocket. After its initial release with Tetris, saw the release of Mario which has turned out to be one of many classics. With many games being released, you were never short on games to buy. It may have been only 4 colours, but with good game design and gameplay it didn't really matter. Also being able to link up 2 GameBoys and play multiplayer Tetris and many other games, also added value \ lastability and playability to many games.
Just recently has seen the release of the Colour Gameboy. The only way people could play GameBoy games in colour before, was to buy a Snes adaptor, which you could plug your GameBoy cartridges into (hardly portable).
