Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation.Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.9 billion since 1982.
This year we are having another Auction for the Cure. Items from generous donors, including Rolex watches, jewelry, and antiques. Every dollar from this event goes to research, so that more mothers, sisters, daughters, and grandmothers don’t die from this awful epidemic.
$100, 000 Raised Last Year
Our goal is to exceed our proceeds from last year. Mark your calender today.

She has been in several Race for the Cure events in hopes that her contributions can help other women live longer.
She and her husband Jon and their two kids, Ron and Jenny have had their lives turned around, and it’s only with support from our cancer survivors and donors like you that she has been able to take back her life.
