AnnaBelle's note leads you to a very large room...Eerr..Cave...Now that you have a clearer look at things, you look down at yourself and gasp...You are so darn dusty!!!
~Its probably from this cave,~ you reason
with yourself...But,
you're now a walking dust-bunny!
~Maybe not a
dust-bunny, its not that bad, and what do you expect? Its a cave!~
Instead of inspecting yourself, you move to looking around at the
room. For some reason, its incredibly light...Or, at least lighter than what
you'd expect...
You start laughing when you see the source...A STREETLAMP who puts
streetlamps in CAVES? AnnaBelle, obviously...Speaking of, the girl's again
watching you, VERY amused.
"You don't expect me to leave my
friends in the dark, do you? We're very deep into the cave, its about a mile
or so long. Then it opens up into this field! I'm mafe this place the best I
possibly could. It was really tiring, but it was just terrific when I did impress
a dragon!" AnnaBelle's last sentence goes up in an excited squeak.
You stare at AnnaBelle. It was surprising to see her suddenly "appear", as you hadn't realized she was there in the first place, but even more confusing for you when she acts as she's been a nice little host the whole time. You look at her a moment.
AnnaBelle's clothes were a mulitude of colors, blues, greens, yellows, and reds. She didn't really seem to care much about matching, but she must love weaving to get such an outfit! Some of it appears to be ripped, most likly
from the playing and working she does, but its still decent.
Her blonde, wavy hair looks like it hasn't been brushed for days. Her hazel eyes sparkle with happy excitement. You can't believe that this child actually takes care of all the animals! She can't be more than 13!
"Hi, AnnaBelle. What's all the excitement about? What dragon did you impress?"
AnnaBelle just smiles,
"Weeelll, the bestest friend of all time!"
You start laughing, "Where is she?"
AnnaBelle's eyes lit up. The question she wanted was asked!
"This way, she loves the open field! She's just out of her bath, Aviath is sun-bathing. I came in because I had to dry off!" AnnaBelle grins in what looks like pride, "She's such a mischeif maker!"
"And you like this?" You're confused at the way AnnaBelle had said the earlier. She sounded like she was encouraging the behavior!
AnnaBelle starts laughing,
"You bet! I'm a bit of one, myself. I have a feeling Aviath and I are going to have some fun one of these days!"
You don't even say anything to THAT! You look around a bit.
You discover that you've been walking
the whole time you talked to AnnaBelle...The whole cave is lit up with the
streetlamps, and left long shadows of things AnnaBelle thought the dragon
might like. Along the right side of the wall was a LOT of hay, for bedding.
There's a lot of shelves dug into the wall...No telling HOW AnnaBelle managed
that one! There was also a few smaller chambers that led off to the right
or left.....And up ahead...A light! The field AnnaBelle had mentioned.
It was still a long ways off. So, you think about to trying a little
conversation.
