Tale of the Harbringer Horses
It is said that these horses brought the beginning.
The Creator harnessed one male and one female to her chariot, the male carrying the powers of fire, his mane, tale and fetlocks all flaming, the female carrying the powers of water with her mane, tale and fetlocks cascading as sheets of water behind her. The wind of their passing was the power of air and with Creator holding the power of earth, these 4 elements set into motion the beginning of all. And when they were done the Creator looked fondly upon the horses and allowed them to make one wish each.
The male wished for immortality, the female for offspring and their wishes were both granted. The horses you see are the offspring of the original Harbingers of Creation, every thousand years a few pairs of these horses, always a male and a female together -they are as one, appear all over.
It is said that if you watch the night sky carefully on the Eve of the New Millenium you may even see the originals flying with their offspring, for Cascade and her mate Flame-tail are yet alive and well, with the Creator.
And that is the legend of the Harbinger Horse.
The powers of these are the ability to fly and telepathy for both, powers of Creation Fires for the males, powers of the Waters of Life for the female. It is said that when they fly their manes, etc will turn to water and fire, this is an untested theory. These horses are now known as the Harbingers of the Millenium and all will launch into flight on New Years Eve of the Millenium and fly around the world bringing the Millenium with them, only after that will they choose owners. These are always born as twins.
The Tale of the Natures Own Minidragon
Growing weary after nearly a 100 years of walking and having granted special gifts to 7 creatures, the Creator needed a rest.
Thinking to sit for a quick minute, she spotted the perfect tree to lean against. World Walker lay at her side, slumbering easily in the cat way, she had given birth to a litter of kittens only 6 worlds ago, her
mate staying on to care for the little ones knowing that World Walker would return for him, but it had left her a little tired.
And soon, the Creator had drifted off as well,
slumbering peacefully in the cool forest. Rolling in her sleep she felt something brush against her and something else balled up before her, startled, she sat up.
A blanket made of leaves fell from her shoulders, exposing a tiny purple dragon sleeping near her. The fall of the leaf blanket startled the little dragon, it came awake with wide eyes, seeing the Creator it smiled and relaxed greatly.
"Are you the one that made the leaf blanket for me?"
The little purple dragon smiled, *Yes, I am using
telekinesis to hold it together. You seemed cold in your sleep and I did not want you to be cold.*
The Creator could hear the honesty in the little dragon's mental voice and was greatly pleased by it's generosity of heart. "You are a good little creature,
generous and caring, you are a natural at caring for others and you seem to enjoy it."
The dragon smiled, *Oh yes, I do quite enjoy caring for others, it seems so little to give and I get so much back.*
The Creator's very soul was warmed by this simple
statement, reaching over she touched the minidragon, "You shall henceforth be known as a Natures Own minidragon, you shall care for the balance of nature and for creatures individually, all new types of minidragons that come to be shall spring from your genes and you shall live a long and happy life." And the Creator set the power of the millenium
into motion a final time just before leaving Drach Welt.
Powers: Can balance any ecology, is naturally nurturing and has the ability to create
anything it needs to carry on it's nurturing ways. A very simple, loving, kind, generous,
yet powerful minidragon who can live up to 1000 years if it so chooses. These types
won't leave a world until there is another to replace them or until their lifespan is spent.
