The neighbours described the scene as "frightening" and "disturbing".  Chris Lee, a Brampton native said, "...it came out of nowhere.  My family and I were having a nice quiet afternoon together playing Monopoly and my 8 year old boy suddenly broke into tears.  I looked out the window and there I saw the most terrifying scene I have ever seen."  The terrifying scene was the sight of Rob Cowan, naked as a jay bird.  Many are still questioning why "The Madman" did what he did.  The story so far is that the Madman was searching for inner harmony or a tranquil state of mind.
