Blue
One morning my karma says, "It's time to leave.
Your shepherd controls what you think you believe."
I ponder the thought and i know that it's true;
My shepherd is twisting my own point of view.
I must kill my shepherd, i must leave the clan,
But freedom and craziness come hand in hand.
They'll hate me, they'll break me, they'll snap me in two.
Yet i know in my heart it's the thing i must do.
chorus:
They desperately preach me their morals and beliefs
I close up my eyes and i open my soul.
Tell me i'll be damned to hell if i leave
Tell me only crazy people behave like me
But freedom is blue is insanity.
I show them my back and they watch as i go.
I close up my ears and i open my mind,
And casually leave all the screaming behind.

Suddenly, finally, everything's real.
I take a deep breath as i begin to feel
Shades of insanity burning and true;
Kind of a fluttering butterfly blue.
(chorus)
My shepherd lays slain under dead blackened trees.
I am what i am and i'm finally free.
I carry me up to the ceiling of blue;
Where i dance with the rain to the song of the true.
