The Archives

Hi! I'm Elisa, and these are my writing archives. I no longer update this page, as I long ago decided that poetry and pop-up ads don't work. Therefore, I feel the need to write a disclaimer-all of the stuff here is over two years old and doesn't necessarily reflect my current belifs (though I still stand by most of it). I've finally got a new server, thanks to Matt who is one cool kiddo. Go check out his page. I'll link to my new page once I get it up. If you want to contact me, my email is sparklnsunshine@hotmail.com. I will probably respond by telling you the story behind the poem (all of the poems have stories).
Enjoy your visit to my website!

Note: all throughout my page, these eyes will take you back here

So, here are my poems, in roughly chronological order:

"untitled," about an experience at a cathedral
"untitled," about candles
Respite
Water
If I...
Quiet
"untitled" ...I call it songpoem.
"untitled"... about a night on the beach.
Meow
Bulletin Board
Chocolate Crayons
Study of a Blue Spruce
untitled... and more or less self explanatory.
Dissect Evil
Gossel
Girlchild
Anxiety
Bedtime, about the last night that I spent in my old house
Friends This is a "new old poem..." you'll see what I mean.
Mostly Nothing This is the title of a series of poems that came out of my fingers as I was sitting at the computer one night. Mostly Nothing was part of the suggested title when I went to save it, and I found this ironically apropriate.
Afterglow
Raincloulds
Holocaust
Borders
EarthmassWritten in reflection to another visit to the Cathedral.
>September 11th This is the poem that I wrote in response to the tragic events on that date.

Non-poetry Work
This is not a poem, it is an essay that I have written, and feel very strongly about. It discusses why homosexuality should be included in the health curriculum of my school district. Here is my Essay.

I don't think that it's quite fair for me to ONLY put up my own work here... so here are a few things by other people.

Easy People This is actually song lyrics, but they're poetic...
Trendy Written by Rachel, a friend of mine.
4 hugs a day Also not a poem, but lyrics to a particularly true "kid's song"

Poems aren't my only intrest, though. I also love musicals, especially RENT. I'll put up some links to some good Rent sites soon (such as the official site for rent, http://www.siteforrent.com), and I've "adopted" a Mimi... Here is her room: Mimi's room
And here is a step into another direction... this page is about a great band, Moxy Früvous!

Very, very few of the backgrounds and images on this site are mine. If they are yours, and you would not like me to use them anymore, you only need to email me and I'll remove them immediately.
