Team America: World Police

Cast
Well, its all Trey Parker and Matt Stone, with a few exceptions. And....they're puppets, all performed by many different people.
Released: 2004. Written by: Trey Parker, Matt Stone & Pam Brady. Directed by: Trey Parker. My Rating: *****.

Plot
Like any good Jerry Bruckheimer movie, the plot revolves around a team of American crime-fighters out to clen up the world. They fight terrorists in a way only George W. would commend. After one of their members is killed on a mission, they recruit an actor to infiltrate a gang of terrorists. He succeeds, and the team destroys a weapon of mass destruction. They believe they have derailed a major terrorist operation, but things go wrong.
We learn that the real brains behind the terrorists is Kim Jong Il, the Korean leader. And he has joined forces with the Film Actor's Guild (or FAG), lead by Alec Baldwin. After Kim Jong Il has most of the Team captrued, its up to the actor to rescue the rest. He succeeds, and they kill many of Hollywood's A-list actors. In the end, the world is safe from terrorists, and safe for the American way of life.

My Thoughts
This was the best movie of 2004. The only movie I saw in the theatre that I gave a full perfect review to. It was innovative, funny, action-filled, and it totally smacked of Matt and Trey's absolute anti-Hollywood sentiments. They kill, usually in grisly ways, many of Hollywood's A-list. They make Kim Jong Il look like a liberace/Eric Cartman look-a-like who damn near came close to destroying the world. Nice.
The other amazingly disturbing, yet intriguingly funny parts is the puppet sex. Now, basically, it looked like Barbie and Ken having dirty, dirty sex in the most ridiculous positions imagined. It was wrong, but funny all at the same time.
I didn't stop laughing through the whole 100 minutes in the theatre, and i've seen it twice since. It was funny every time, and it reaffirms the fact that Matt and Trey are far too funny for their own good. Every season of Southpark is hysterical, they're other movies are disturbingly funny, and this is the best thing they've ever created. Thank-you Matt and Trey.
