My Thoughts
Okay, this is Nickelback's fourth album. Fourth? you ask. Yes, fourth. Curb, The State, Silver Side Up, and this one, The Long Road. I haven't been a fan of the band as long as some, and the first thing I ever heard of them was "How You Remind Me". Silver Side Up was a great album, and a lot of the older stuff I've heard is just as good. I've been waiting for this follow up, and so have a lot of other people.
The boys from Hanna have outdone themselves with this one. They've changed a few things, including adding a hard edge, like their cover of "Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting", and "Because of You". They've added to their repetoire of talent and changed their style just a tad. It sounds fresh, but with that same sort of wit that the last one had. Songs like "Figured You Out" and "Should've Listened" are hilarious and rockin at the same time. All in all, its an incredible listening experience.
So, here's my rating. 1 out of.....wait, no, its a 5. A 6 maybe. GO BUY IT!
