My Thoughts
The first single from this Aussie band, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" was one of the most enjoyable tunes on the radio in the last few months. It has an infectuous beat, simple lyrics, and is a lot of fun. The second single, "Cold Hard Bitch" has much the same formula, but that's not all these boys have to offer. The album is full of very British music, channelling The Beatles and Oasis, and coming up with some original beats.
The album flows very well, and its a hoot to listen to. Like I said, its very British, despite the Australian origins of the band. I thoroughly enjoy this disc. Its actually fun to listen to. Its very easy to listen and enjoy it, and that's something rare these days.
Its getting a 4.
