Plot
Crime boss Draco offers Bond his daughter's hand in marriage in exchange for finding the head of SPECTRE, Ernst Blofeld. When they infiltrate Blofeld's latest operation in the Swiss Alps, Bond finds he is actually falling for Traci, Draco's daughter, and that marriage to her would be more than just a business proposition.
My Thoughts
Made in between Connery Bonds You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever, this is the forgotten Bond. Connery was not interested in doing Bond, and the money wasn't right, so producers Broccoli and Saltzman just went out and found someone new. They got George Lazenby, an Australian unknown to play the spy. Roger Moore was considered, but was tied up with The Saint on TV. TV deals would be a problem with choosing Bond after Moore's run as well. The film is actually pretty strong, and underrated by most. The plot is original, and the whole marriage thing is new as well. The best part is that this film is referenced by others, mostly the marriage, and is part of the lore that Bond was in love and married.
