Cheddar n' Onion Mashed Potato Bake
- 3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1-1/3 cups French's fried onions
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation - Spray a 2 quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Mix the first four ingredients together in a bowl. Spoon about half of the mixture into the prepared casserole.
Sprinkle with about 1/2 cup cheese and about 2/3 cup fried onions. Add the remaining potato mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for about 30 minutes. Top with the remaining cheese and fried onions. Bake for about 5 more minutes or until the cheese is melted and the onion topping is lightly browned. Makes 5 or 6 servings.
