Hamburger Barbecue

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1 T. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 T. Worstershire sauce
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion

Preparation -
In saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 1/2 hour. In a skillet, brown the ground chuck. Add the vegetables and saute until the vegetables are tender. Drain any visible fat. Pour the sauce over meat mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
