THE PLANT THAT GREW

A plant was brought to you one day
It was very unhealthy and very weak
It's root system was dry and very weak
You did not know what would become of it
You took the plant and nurtured it and gave it water.
You talked and put it on the window gently
As the days went by you could see new growth
Slowly it became stronger from your nurturing
Although it was struggling from it's very weak root system
however you did not give up on the plant and it grew
First a sprout then a leaf one by one as each day went by
Beautiful leaves grew on a stronger stem from your love
As you kept nurturing and loving the plant grew
And one day little bud started coming out on the plant
The plant root system was a lot stronger from your love
Eventually the bud began to open slowly and to bloom
Into a beautiful red rose that was healthy and strong roots
