Poems

Death By a Sword

War has struck.
Death has come.
Those who rose to the challenge,
Now lay side by side with a fallen foe.

Blood is everywhere,
Soon to rust your armor.
But has already stained the ground.

You feel no pain,
You think your fine,
But you are unaware of the fate which will soon be yours.

Death by a sword...

The Darkness

The fresh summer's air tickles your nose,
Like a feather from a soft pillow.
The sky is so clear and chaos free,
Little do you know of what is soon to come.

You bask in the warm sunlight taking what is left.
Suddenly it is colder,
Frost covers the grass.

Not even a minute ago it was warm as day.
But now since the darkness has come,
All you feel is the chill of night.

It becomes so cold,
Your blood freezes in your veins.
The little hairs on your arms,
Curls at winters chilling refrain.

You feel weak,
Unable to stand.
You fall limply to the ground,
Never to strive again.

eyes

i look into those eyes
imaginary in my head
i don't know the color
they look like they're silver
to me
i dream about them
night and day
they help me wish the world away
to look into them
to kiss your perfect eyelids
is my only wish

the rose

like a rose
i am sometimes beautiful
don't forget i have thorns
my petals are all torn off
taken by a nagging voice
so now i lie a stick of thorns
raw emotions flow
from a heart covered in
thorns
you help me put my petals
back on
you help me find my true self
while i am loving you
my perfect pansy

Battle for the Night

Dark Mages controlled by one Dark Lord,
All is magic only mortals use the sword.
Mages become soldiers of night,
Their only competitors remain high out of sight.
Birds of fire join as one,
For the final battle that has not been won.
Caves of myth the birds loom,
Ominously waiting for their battle soon.
On a dark night,
The two powers clash and fight.
Soldiers of myth appear from the shadows,
Dark birds swoop down on their foes.
Fire sweeps down from a’high,
The mages lightning screams a cry.
Forces clash in a battle of hate,
Dragon’s fall it was their fate.
Wall’s of fire suppress the dead,
Rocks melting to molten lead.
Magic prevails in the fight,
Soon air starts winning the night.
It is now a fight from Lord to Lord,
There are no axes or swords.
Whoever falls army’s stand down,
Retreat to their halls without their crowns.
The Lord of Flight uses his power,
Mages of dark fall from their towers.
The Lord of fire has destroyed magic.
The end of the battle nothing but tragic.
For now at night,
Reigns the ruler of flight.
Waiting for their next duel,
Whoever challenges them is a fool
