DEAD MEN DON'T CRY

by Chris N

Why don't dead men cry?

Because problems in life don't follow when you die.

Are tears shed only for the living?

Maybe because life is all taking and no giving.

Do the angels sympathize with a man no longer alive?

I don't know; they'll tell you when you arrive.

Does a poem about dead men make any sense?

No; nothing really matters when it's all in the past tense.
