T's Holiday Bruschetta
tgray, Texas

  • French Bread

  • 1 8 ounce brick cream cheese

  • 1 small can black olives, drained

  • 3 or 4 green onions, chopped finely

  • 1 large or 2 medium tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 bottle Garlic Italian dressing

In a food processor, finely chop the black olives. Add in the cream cheese. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, gently stir the onions and tomatoes. Cover it with Saran Wrap and put it in the fridge.

Slice the French bread into 1 inch thick slices, then quarter.  Brush one side of the bread with the Garlic Italian dressing.  

Put the bread on a cookie sheet, dressing side up. Place it under the broiler and lightly brown.

Spread the cream cheese/olive mixture on top of the toast.  Don't put too much, but you do want a good coating.

Lastly, top with the tomatoes and onions.  Serve immediately.

It's simply amazing!
