Herb Stuffing
Michelle, California  

  • 12 c slightly dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c snipped parsley   
  • 1/3 c finely chopped onion   
  • 1 1/2 tea salt  
  • 1 t sage  
  • 1 t thyme  
  • 1 t rosemary  
  • 6 T melted butter  
  • 1 c canned chicken broth (not condensed) 

 

Combine all ingredients, except broth.  

Add broth, toss lightly to mix.  

Makes 8 cups or enough stuffing for one 12 pound turkey.  

I always stuff the turkey, so I guess it would cook as long as other stuffing if you didn't stuff.
