Dog and
Spuds
Peal and thinly slice potatoes. Thinly slice hot dogs. Layer them in a 9x13 pan sprayed w/ non-stick spray. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a heavy sauce pan, melt butter. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring constantly, until the paste cooks and bubbles just a bit. Cook about 2 minutes. Add milk and stir as the sauce thickens. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and continue to cook 2 or 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over potatoes and hot dogs. Bake 45 minutes at 350. Remove and sprinkle with cheese. Continue baking for 15 more minutes. |
