Very Easy Teacup Candle
Valkyrie, Japan

  • 1 teacup* and saucer

  • 3 votive candles

  • Glue* saucer to bottom of teacup.

Remove tags or stickers from bottom of votive candles.

In a double boiler* or a can over a pan of water, melt 2 of the candles.

Glue last candle in center of the teacup with a glue gun (that will be the wick)

Pour melted candles in teacup, let wax harden, decorate teacup as desired.

*editor's notes:

I found some beautiful cups and saucers at an antique/resale shop. I paid $3 for both cup and saucer. Or, you can find some really pretty, modern ones at your local Wal-Mart or Target.

I use Goop to glue the cup and saucer together. You can find it in the paint/hardware section at Wal-Mart.

If you use a double boiler, you will no longer be able to use it for food.  An empty vegetable can is best for this.
