  • Any thing else you can think of!

Take a Large Box.  You can get one from an appliance store, a local plumber or you can buy them at a U-Haul store for just a few dollars.

Cut out your theatre!  About 3/4ths the way up your box, using the craft knife, cut a "window" from your box.  About 1-1/2 foot tall by 2 feet wide is a great "stage".

Now, using the glue gun, hang the towel or material along the inside, top of the window. The puppets will perform between the box and the curtain. This way, they can stand and not be seen from the audience.

My children love to decorate the box as well.  I think drawing in curtains, the orchestra pit and an audience is great fun and keeps them busy longer! :)

Using the glue, scissors, buttons, scraps of paper, felt and cloth, let your children make their puppets.  Be sure to watch them with those scissors!

Enjoy the fun!
