Thomas Wong

I am currently a student in Edith Cowan University majoring in Tourism Management. Prior to this, I hold a diploma from Singapore Hotel & Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC) with a diploma in Pastry and Baking. Trained in the preparation of cakes, pastries and ice-cream and other desserts, I also have had hands-on experience in Four Seasons Hotel (Singapore). There, I was responsible for baking for hotel guests and was in charge of ensuring quality and creating visual appeal for desserts in the hotel’s many restaurants.

Upon graduation, I have been exposed to various aspects of the food and beverage industry in Singapore Airlines, have a good grasp of how it is like and what is expected of one who works in it. An extremely driven and committed individual, I am meticulous and a team player.

Long hours under pressure do not daunt me. With good interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong command of Chinese and English, I believe that my experience combined with training will allow me to have a fruitful career in your organization.
