STRUTTER SOUNDSPAGE

On this page you can check out sounds in mp3-format. These are all very rare and hard to get recordings, mostly from the 1980s. Some have been released on an obscure LP or only as demo, and here's your chance to hear some of these rare recordings, which is impossible to get, because mostly these are independent released songs. If there's a bandmember out there from one of the featured bands please contact me. In the future this page will be frequently updated and please mail me any comments  you might have!

SAINT - HERE COMES THE FEELIN'

One of many 80s US bands releasing a very rare LP, and then disappearing forever, who knows what happened to the band and it's members mail me!

Anyway, the band's LP is very rare, and impossible to get, and here you can hear a song of that record. "Here comes the feelin'" is a very impressive uptempo AOR/Melodic Pomprocksong in the style of WHITE SISTER...

SACRED STEEL - BREAKING YOU DOWN

Although in the USA back in the 1980s AOR/Melodic Rock was the most popular Rock/Metal style, there were definitely thousands of good quality bands in the underground scene playing pure US Metal. In the Chicago area a lot of bands were playing in the style of MAIDEN, QUEENSRYCHE, VICIOUS RUMORS, CRIMSON GLORY, FATES WARNING, etc. SACRED STEEL were one of them, and it's a pity they never made it big, because their song "Breaking you down" is an awesome piece of classic 80s Melodic Metal, with strong lead vocals, biting twin-guitarwork and a strong chorus. Not to be confused with the German band from nowadays!

CHASER - SAY YOU BELIEVE

CHASER's "Say you believe" is the kind of catchy AOR tune every fan of the genre will instantly love! The song has all it takes to make it sound like an AOR Classic in the true SURVIVOR/JOURNEY tradition. The band toured as a support act for many well-known bands, but unfortunately I am not aware of any album they may have released, but here's your chance to hear at least one of their awesome songs.

DVS 'NEVER SAY NEVER

The late 80s/early 90s were a very lively time for New Jersey, when so many Melodic Rockbands ruled the scene, all following the dream of BON JOVI in becoming the best and most successfull rockband ever. Unfortunately many bands never broke through, such as this DVS, and on their fantastic melodic rocker "Never say never" we can once again hear some classic New Jersey type of Melodic Rock a la DANGER DANGER.
