Attention!
Due to poor ice conditions on Black Lake we will be using an alternate site for the Shivaree this year. Be assured that we are moving forward with all scheduled events, except the Motorcycle Ice Racing! The new location is approximately 1 mile north of Onaway on M-211. Again, we are proceeding with all events except the Motorcycle Ice Racing. Please do not cancel your plans to attend...we have plenty of new exciting events we don't want you to miss.
Also: All snowmobile races cancelled except kid's races which will be held Sunday @ noon.
New events include Dog Sled Rides for kids, Human Bowling and Longest Drive (Golf).
Live Entertainment at the Tower Tavern Friday and Saturday night by the band Relics. Performing classic rock and roll!

Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Rentals Available for Torchlight Safari

Contact Big Bear Adventures at 231-238-8181 to request rentals. They will deliver the equipment to the Black Mountain Trailhead Friday evening. Rates are: $10 for Cross Country Skis (Fischer Skis-includes skis, poles, boots, bindings) $8 for Snowshoes (Atlas Snowshoes.) For more rental information go to www.bigbearadventure.com.
