In this story, Del sets out on a trek of self discovery and understanding; shedding the 'garments of innocence' as he tries to fill the shoes of manhood. Along the way, a series of events occur that pull others into his world as they all develop, and decipher there on rites of passage.

This novel is set apart from other novels that have preceeded it due to its ingenious storytelling style and the use of poetry and prose to establish plot and tone. Secrets.
Everyone has secrets. The things we do in private and hope never sees the light of day. The little idiosyncrasies we do when we think no one else is around. Things we do when the shades are drawn and behind closed doors. Low and behold, it seems that someone is always watching.
Secrets tend to grow and mature as man does, until they build and fester over into a syrupy sweet. Secrets consume us until we are in way too deep. Secrets wake up with us; secrets lie down with us as we sleep. Secrets tend to rear their ugly heads at the most inopportune times. As the old adage goes, all things done in the dark eventually come to light.
Delmeray, the main character of "From Now Until November", has his fair share of secrets. The squeaky clean façade we see from day to day is just that, a façade. He wears a mask that attempts to hide the many cracks and chinks in his ‘armor’. Del is a boy living in a world of men. He tries to juggle the good and the bad, the truth with the lies, but can’t quite find a balancing point. 'From Now Until November', the secrets will grow until they spread and touch and potentially destroy the lives of everybody in their wake. Can Del love two at the same time? Can he forgive his father for his transgressions? Will he be able to come to grips with his inner demons and desires? Can he stop the rain and put out the fires?
