Date: 09/15/01 11:39:33 AM With the close of the 20th Century, the past evils that strike at the heart of humanity has been passed onto the 21st Century. Man still possesses the same hatred that began since day one of the human race. The forces of evil are still around because Satan wants that. It is up to the free world to not allow him to win. Moreover, that, is something he will not accomplish because good is always victorious over evil. September 11, 2001 will always be remembered. It will never fade into some black hole. The innocent souls are with God now. My prayers are with them and their families. Their deaths will not be in vain, justice will be served in the harshest way. Terrorism is a war against the world, the people, and this planet and against God. We are united and we will win against those that spew the blood of innocence. As a co-author of Between Light and Dark, a book about abuse, disabilities and the harsh realities of life, the book sends a message that there is always hope, for now and the future. The cowardly actions of these evil people that have been laid upon us, hope for a peaceful world now, and for the future, will overcome their actions and justice will prevail. God bless all of you, the stolen innocence, the families of the victims from all over the world. I stand with you. You may have left us; however, you will never be forgotten. I must also send thanks to the many people around the world that have displayed their sorrow with us. We love you all. In addition, as a final note, I send my sincere thanks to the hero's that are doing what none of us wish to ever have to do. From the citizens on the ill fated plane that crashed in Pennsylvania, to the firefighters, the police officers and the numerous volunteers who are desperately trying to find survivors, I am with you and God certainly is blessing you as well. You are my hero's. Sincerely, Christopher L. Collins |
Date: 09/15/01 11:55:18 AM How beautiful - God Bless you! Replying to: This is wonderful. We will all discover in the weeks to come just how strong we are as a nation. We will prevail because we will stand together as one American family. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to: I am a singer. Last night I was at a bar and was offered $5.00 to sing the National Anthem. I said if I was good enough for the crowd, I would like for them all to come give money in the tip jar, and we would donate it to the Red Cross. I raised app. $400.00 in 3 minutes. Please, all of you, do what you can. |
Date: 09/15/01 11:57:27 AM Nothing I can put down in words can begin to express the feelings of horror I experienced when the full magnitude of the events of the 11th became clear. Condolences to families of the victims, admiration to the emergency services, from a fellow human being in Scotland. Hard decisions WILL have to be made. Let people grieve first. Mike |
Date: 09/15/01 12:09:21 PM I Send a prayer to all those who have been affected by this catastrophe. I am sad and angered because this happened . It did not happen just to those who were in those building but to all of us. |
Date: 09/15/01 12:12:26 PM What a great idea! I have one addition
I'd put in... I'd have him listen to "God Bless America"
over and over and over and over and .... well, you get the idea!
Replying to: I think we should all work for JUSTICE for our pal Osama. I'm defining justice as: something like that portrayed in A CLOCKWORK ORANGE...let's put him in a room surrounded on all sides (wall, ceiling, floor) by the live video we've been watching this week of the FACES OF THOSE PEOPLE CRYING FOR THEIR LOVES ONES. Every fifteen minutes or so, let's intercut that with shots from the morgue. And shots of forensic scientists holding small pieces of what used to be people up to their microscopes... Then, on the anniversary of 9-11, let's put ole Osama in one of those clear plastic balls that people buy for hamsters to roll around the living room floor. Let's let all of the families of victims get to "interact" with him for an hour... Then back to his cell and the live video of people screaming. And one final thing: let's take real, real, real good care of him, so he lives a long time. In agony I like it, I like it! Let's play that at about "9" on the dial, too. (we could also make sure he had lots of
pork sandwiches and cheap beer handy...in case he got hungry)
Love these ideas! Being from Georgia, my
first thought was to send him down here for some red neck justice
but your ideas are much better! I will bring the barbeque and
I think I have some PBR in the fridge! Cool! Since he also hates women, make sure you bring some female friends to whip his cowardly butt into that hamster ball... |
Date: 09/15/01 12:23:21 PM For the past several days I have sat in my living room scanning from one news station to the next. I am not unlike most of the people of the world in that aspect. I have seen the images of what took place and is still taking place over and over again, yet it still seems unreal to me. I can not believe my own eyes. I am usually a person who is never at a loss for words, yet I feel I have nothing to say. There are no words to describe how I feel. All I have are the tears in my eyes and the pain in my heart. Some day the words will come...but they will not take the place of the tears and pain...they will never go away. God Bless Us All. |

but have money to travel anywhere, get into USA. I do agree that ANYONE who is behaving suspiciously or is obviously breaking the law should be reported to the authorities. But I do not believe that you can single out Moslem people alone. Terrorism is against the Moslem faith which teaches that all men are brothers. What Bin Ladin did was not the act of a true Moslem. I am a Jew and I can say this. We must not become a nation and a world of haters. If we do, then the terrorists won. I love all my Moslem brothers and sisters. I would never know how to look a Moslem child in the face and explain to their innocent eyes how I hated them just because they are Moslem. I could never do this. For the children, for ALL our children, please don't hate. Love justice. Seek justice for what happened on September 11 at the World Trade Towers. But please don't hate. Don't let the terrorists win. I agree completely with you. We must not punish innocent Muslim people due to the stupidity of these fanatics. We must go to war. I support our President 100 per cent. But we must only punish the people who initiated this attack and those who hide them. NOT innocent people. That is what makes America great, remember, we did not blame all Germans for the insanity of the few. God Bless Us All |
Date: 09/15/01 01:05:48 PM It's so nice to see people like yourselves taking the time to send your thoughts and prayers our way. The world thanks you, the United State thanks you, I thank you. Melissa |
Date: 09/15/01 01:09:11 PM Well said Julie! I no longer bleed red, but Red, White &
Blue! Replying to: I never knew what it was to really be an
American until the morning that changed my life forever. I watched in horror! That one act must have planted the seed
in my own heart to be strong. I am so proud beyond words to be an American.
I am also blown away by the thousands of
men and women, who have risked their own lives to help try and
save those in such grave peril. We will not be destroyed!!!>>>>>
God will heal our lands as we seek His
face. Now is the time for us all to put aside
the pettiness that kept us divided, and together lets help make
America beautiful and strong from sea to shining sea!!! Julie Mallen~ |
Date: 09/15/01 01:17:54 PM I survived the terrible hijacking by terrorists in the middle east in September 1970 and was one of those who were considered 'prisoners of war' and thus endured and survived the Jordanian civil war. Our rallying cry they was "We are Americans and will stick together and prevail". It is 31 years later and the root causes of the major problems in that part of the world still have not been eliminated. There were radical elements then that did not want to solve problems by negotiation and other peaceful means. There are even more radical fanatics operating today, as we have just seen. The free world must not allow the small numbers of these people to intimidate us. We must use reason , be patient and steadfast , and come together - not only to punish the few terrorists and their leaders and helpers- but to make sure this time that the root causes are adressed. God Bless America and All the Freedom Loving Peoples of the World. |
Date: 09/15/01 01:34:37 PM I would like to say not only to my family back in Philadelphia but to all my fellow Americans back home that the anxiety, the fears, the anger and the sadness at this needless loss of human life has touched me like no moment in my own personal history has. Images do not normally bring tears to my eyes or a lump to my throat, however, I became quite ckoked up the other day when a picture from a New York newspaper showed the American Flag, hoisted up high by three New York firefighters amid a backdrop of debri and rubble that was once the twin towers! It seemed as if one was witnessing America being born again! |
Date: 09/15/01 01:56:35 PM Hi - I created a t-shirt design for my site, My Dog Murphy's T-shirts and Gifts, and am giving the profits to the Red Cross. I'd love it if you would take a look at http://www.mydogmurphy.com and see the shirt. We've already raised more than $100 in less than 48 hours. I am not allowed to give blood, and the Red Cross is actually turning away volunteers, so I figured this was the least I could do. God bless, Nathan Rudy This is a wonderful gesture on your part. I heard of a lady who just set up a stand on a street corner in New York and raised over $7,000 for the families of the New York victims. But she also had ID from the Social Services Agency that licenses people to collect for a charity. If you are collecting for a charity, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact the Red Cross or the city/county agency in your area that is in charge of that sort of thing so you can also get certified. They already announced on TV that the FBI would investigate all solicitations made on behalf of the victims of the WTC terrorism and if the person is not properly certified to collect for charity they could face legal troubles. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOU. Please take care, okay? |
Date: 09/15/01 02:12:06 PM To All those who live in America, My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have lost loved ones in the tragedy that happened on September 11. I can't even begin to imagine how you people feel through all of this. God Bless You All. |

Date: 09/15/01 03:20:21 PM I share the deep sorrow of the great American people and believe that good will prevail over evil in the end. Terrorism is the cancer of our societies and there are no such thing as "good = benign" and "bad = malignant" terrorist. But many "civilized" European governments used to see terrorists, some of them at least, as "freedom fighters" and even supported them. I would like to cite German governments in the first place, that have been giving political and financial support to the Turkish "Islamic" extremists in their country for years ! These groups aim to topple the Western-oriented, secular Turkish Republic and build a religious state like the one in Iran and Afghanistan ! And we should not forget the PKK which killed thousands of innocent people, both Kurds and Turks, during the last 10 years or so in Turkey. A lot of European governments, Germany at the top of the list, have been and continue to be the principal supporters of these bloody bandits! And make no mistake, Osama Bin Laden was trained and used by CIA in an effort to weaken the former Soviet Union ! So folks, let us change our minds and not differentiate between terrorists any more ! Terrorist is terrorist, no matter which nation or ethnic group or religion he or she may belong to! God bless the USA and all the "civilized" nations of the world! |
Date: 09/15/01 03:38:51 PM Please tell me how to heal...how do you forgive? We are being forced to break peace and send our husbands, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, nieghbors off to loose thheir lives?I am behind the President 100% and my heart goes out to him for being put in this position.Tell me why there are still people in this country that can loot and steal from the dead and injured? To try to sell items on the internet and prosper this way? Tell me if you still think we should not drill for oil in our country to be independent from the same people that want to kill us?Tell me when will the visions of our victims and rescue workers ever leave our mind, when will be able to lay our heads down and close our eyes without these haunting images?I am so full of grief right now I don't know when I ever felt so much pain before. My heart goes out to all my fellow country people.to all that has lost from this heinous crime.I love my country and all ewho live here,I pray that we can come together as a nation and seek justice for those involed.Sometimes you have to give to get and if we must sacrifice then we will as that is what freedom means to us. |

Date: 09/15/01 05:19:37 PM Although I enjoy writing poetry, I don't do it very often as it usually takes me days to write a single poem. Today, with no thinking before hand I picked up a pen and wrote the attached poem in less than 10 minutes.. Don't ask me where these words ccame from because I don't really know, they seemed to just flow from my pen with no help from me. I can only believe that the words came from a Higher Power, and so I share them with the world in the hope that it will stop at least one person who is thinking of doing something like this in the future. I offer my prayers and sympathy to all who lost loved ones in this tragedy. For those who were injured I pray for a speedy recovery. May God bless us all!! CJW
FROM THE SKIES On a Tuesday morning bright and clear Who will teach her how to pray? She'll cry at night and call for Mom So now I'll watch my daughter grow Sept 2001 Wow - how moving. I'm reading this at work and crying. That was very, very beautiful. Thank you. |
Date: 09/15/01 05:24:39 PM I'm not trying to preach to anyone but
this is seriously a time for people to find their way to God.
It's a shame that it took a horrible incident, such as this,
for Americans to realize we are not immortal. We (some Americans)
are walking around waving the flag and singing the Star Spangled
Banner, you better go read your Bible and get right with God
because who knows what can happen next. Some people are thinking
that it's over and there's nothing to worry about. These are
the people that think nothing can happen to them and I just want
to say WORRY!! Don't panic but know that something could happen
and not to think that you're immortal. Just GOD HELP US!!! This war, I believe most will agree is directly related to God and religion. This horrific attack happened only because we, the USA is viewed as the "Head of Satan" by Bin Laden and the Islamic terrorists. This a "Holy War". While we will be confronting a primitive people, they are to be greatly feared only because they place no value on human life, not even their own. |
Date: 09/15/01 06:28:24 PM We have the power and intelligence to go in and take out public enemy #1... no more innocent lives need be lost. We do not want world war III. |
Date: 09/15/01 06:37:15 PM Bueatiful poem. God Bless you and all Americans.
Replying to: 9-11-01 As I sit here and think We will forever be here, There has always been trouble. You have tested our strength, Our country is the We have been through things Missing loved ones is Americans will never forget Thomas E. Starnes |
Date: 09/15/01 07:21:49 PM GOD BLESS all the U.S.A.military who might go to war! |
Date: 09/15/01 09:28:49 PM How does one find the words to express what's in her heart? How do I learn to try and accept what it is I don't understand? How do we teach our children, and our children's children to love and trust, when our trust has been so violated? These are all questions that only God can answer. So my revenge and retaliation will prevail. My weapons will be my faith and prayer, which is much stronger then any bomb mankind has created. This past week has been so very difficult for us all to deal with. To try and continue with a, "business as usual", attitude is next to impossible, knowing that so many thousands of individuals feel as though their world, as they knew it, has ended. Life is strange and God never promised tomorrow. It is truly a shame that each of us needed a tragedy such as this to remind us how lucky we are to be American Citizens, who live free. My weapon of prayer will be to ask God to direct our leaders to do what is right for our country, whatever that may be. For we all need to protect our freedom, and go on teaching our children love and trust. May God bless the families who have lost loved ones due to this needless act of violence. May God also bless the brothers and sisters of LEO's and Firefighters lost in this attack. May we all stand proud and continue, "business as usual", to teach the terrorists that they will never win this war of theirs. Because we are citizens of the United States of America, and will continue to stand in Unity, generation after generation, in spite of the ignorance of others. Finally to all the other Countries who stand with us, may God Bless you! |
Date: 09/16/01 12:07:15 AM God will help us through this tragic time. I pray for each & every one of American People that we will pull together & BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN |

Date: 09/16/01 04:21:12 AM I want to offer my deepest condolences to the victims' family members, as well as to the people of America for their tragic losses, as a result of the horrendous and despicable attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. Attacks that have not only deeply hurt the people of America, but also civilization itself. Americans, I'm sure, will overcome what has happened to them, and they will rise from this tragedy stronger and more self conscious than before. People the world over are mourning with you, and are very much emotionally affected by all of this. We all must do our utmost to make sure that a terrible crime like this, can never happen again. If anything good can come from this, let's hope it will bring us all closer together, so we can make this a better world for mankind from now on. God bless the people of America. Mike Hueber |
Date: 09/16/01 05:52:56 AM When I awoke September 11th I had no inkling
that any thing out of the ordinary had occured. To me it was
just another day and I was almost late for work. I had turned
on the radio and just caught the tailend of the announcement
of the tragedy. I thought it was just another plane crash. I
went about my business until I finally was informed in another
broadcast about the enormity of the situation. |

Date: 09/16/01 07:31:09 AM The End Of The Beginning In a world of love, hate and crime... Many of us didnt take the time... We have jobs, stresses and strains... Where we as Americans take life in vain... We dont think twice, but in the end someone will pay the price... For we dont know who, it could be me or it could be you... On September 11, 2001 life was changed for good... Thousands died, thousands cried... We are all in this together, a ban of united
humans that look out for one For what has happened has hurt me and hurt you.... We have let our guard down and let the
stranger in the shadows come We will find you no matter what it takes... For what you have done has not shut us
down, but shown what we are Americans are united as one, you will never untie the united one... Bow down to the one you serve, YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU DESERVE! Scott C. Newton |

How absolutely moving and true! I think it's safe to assume that you have truly grasped the thoughts and emotions of every American, indeed, every clear thinking Nation with a consciousness of a soul! Well done! |
Date: 09/16/01 08:02:10 AM Being 25, I was born after the major horrors of the previous wars, and was naive to believe that America was immune from the attacks that other countries have experienced. Tuesday was an eyeopener for me, and frightening as I have a wife and daughter. I'm not an overly patriotic man, and definately not a man of faith, but I now have faith in the human race, as we as a nation have tried to show the world that while we grieve, we will band together. My heartfelt sorrow goes out to family & friends of those who were lost, and I hope we can heal. -the Jedi Bastard |

Date: 09/16/01 08:58:33 AM Everyone who lost someone in this horrible terrorist act I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. This horrible thing that has happened here in America is something that we need to never forget, but remember those who lost thier lives for our freedom that we have here in this country. We also need to remember how precious our freedom is, and to never take it for granted. I will always remember those who lost thier lives, and it will forever be etched in my heart. God Bless |

And whatever, whatever comes what may, I want you to know there'll be better days. And in this world there's evil and good and the good will conquer just like it should Cause the people must stick together and
there's not a storm that we can't weather.Cause we are the strong
and we are the brave and we won't give up 'til we're in our graves.
And we as a people will overcome and we'll
make it through to the other side. And all of the victims in
New York's tragedy, we'll see you again in paradise. And all
of the mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers. And all
of the children and friends and next of kin. C |
