Friendly, street corner local serviving a low priced, ever changing guest beer in its traditional tap room and comfortable lounge. Chain plates depict the local mining industry, along side a large collection of jugs. Until 50 malt whiskys are stocked, as well as beers that are unusual for the area.

Opened in 1999, it's a truck stop! however the truck stop image ends in the car park. Built mainly from reclaimed materials, the impressive brick and pantile building houses an unusual foyer, superb bar and carvery. Harry's bar features real beams, an open log fire, yorkstone flags, antique board floors and pews. The atmosphere is cosy, relaxed, and very friendly. A stylish carvery offers food to a very high standard at reasonable prices.
