Summer Pub of the Season 1999 Steve and Sandra at the Kingfisher were presented with their first ever award in January.. The other Old Mill pub in Rotherham, it is situated alongside Centenary Way and can be reached on foot from the town centre via George Street down the side of the Phoenix, through the subway and turn left. Originally one of the three Effingham Arms in town, the 'Little Eff' had been closed before Old Mill re-opened it. The interior has been opened out and accommodation is also available.
