Membership matters Morning, Welcome to my second year as the membership secretary. i thought the job was safe when we won the best recruitment award at the national a.g.m. at Scarborough for small branches. Now that`s not a name i like small branch. We are a Metropolitan borough of over 250,000 and have a membership of 246 {nationally it is nearly 65,000}.. But a small branch becomes a large branch with over 250 members so, as you can see, we are only four members off. So to all members-get your wives/husbands/sons/daughters and friends to join.Tononmembers reading this ther has never been a better time to join as i am going to give someone {the 250th member} a nice thank you present for joining and hopefully take Rotherham CAMRA to a large Branch status. Who knows i may win the award fot the large Branch next year in Exeter {with your help of course}. Many Thanks, Keith Back To Issue Thirteen Back To Inn Touch |
