ABOUT JOHNC (Messenger Angel)

John brings to every session a psychological background along with knowledge of philosophy, religious studies, and sociology. In fact, his college major was psychology with an emphasis in human behavior.

A Scorpio by birth, John enjoys the mysterious, paranormal, and occult world and engages in it with much enthusiasm.

His knowledge of the occult started to accumulate when he was a young child and found that he was experiencing strong empathetic feelings with and toward other's (clairsentience). Even today he still finds that he feels others pains and emotions quite clearly. He also 'hears' information and has always had what he thought of a "inner" dialogues with himself, but he now knows those are both clairaudient and telepathic abilities manifesting.

During his childhood John started reading books on and having to do with the occult and esoteric works, but coming from a strong Catholic Family he elected, at the time, to keep most of his growing knowledge in those areas secret.

He spent many of his painful hours talking with/to Angels and God. Religion was always important to him and still is, but he says "there comes with this an understanding that religion is more than just a common set of beliefs and doctrines which a group or cult of people choose to follow. Religion is about belief, and there is no belief that is as strong and as powerful as your own belief system can be. Thus to me, true religion, like faith, comes from within, not from the religious group which you claim yourself to be apart of".

Today John looks back on his many accomplishments proudly. Besides being a two time two consecutive years "Who's Who Student", John was also an honor member of both the international Thespian Society and the National Forensic League.

In 1999 he was nominated for poet of the year and he won two Editor's Choice Awards. One for a poem he wrote in 1998 ("The Rainbow of Equality") and the other for a biography he wrote of himself in 2000 which also earned him the Angel's Wings Award.  Recently (2005), his children's story was accepted by a British publishing company.

He is a former member of the student affiliate body of the American Psychological Association and American Counseling Association. He holds an achievement award in Paraprofessional Crisis Intervention Counseling approved by the American Association of Suicideology for the hours of training and telephone crises work he has done. Besides all this he is also an alumni of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a men's professional music fraternity.

Five years ago he completed his Cyber Angel's Training and helped on and off in their support division. He was also a Supervising Operator for Teen Advice Online and the Teen Help Organization. Before that he worked with the Jagnet Teen Crisis Center

Four years ago he completed Peer Education Training for Alcohol Prevention and Leadership Training. He was also a Student Ambassador.

On Feb. 23, 2003 he was awarded a certification in counseling techniques by Brainbench, the world's largest provider of high-quality, structured, skilled certification exams. He also finished his psychological practicum with Odyssey Healthcare Inc. working with the spiritual counseling department.

John has spent time studying, but certainly not perfecting his knowledge in Angelology, Astrology, Dreamology, Mediumship, Numerology, Psychic Development, and Tarot.

He has had extensive training in Advanced Psychic Development, Tarot Reading, Astrology, Kabbalah Pathworking, and Numerology. He has also studied some Mediumship, Shamanism, Wicca, Magick, and is a Reiki "Master."

John eventually hopes to obtain a Master's in counseling and incorporate his metaphysical, religious, and psychological knowledge together into a private practice and school.

John is also a very active teacher in the metaphysical field. He enjoys teaching everything from short workshops to long courses that span three months or longer. Among his favorite teaching subjects include psychic development, tarot, guides/helpers, and psychic self defense. He is very willing to travel to teach classes too.

Outside of his metaphysical life John enjoys computers, reading books, games and gaming (especially role playing games by White Wolf), watching movies, and both watching and performing in live theater (especially musical theater). Oh, and he has a special love for children, teenagers, and animals!
