OFF-SET is a new Rock band from
Connecticut. The band likes hanging out, playing and listening to music. The
band has quite an interesting history. Guitarist, Mike Kindel, had a band along
with drummer, Kevin Scheer, called “Point of View”. Chris Celentano, singer
had a band named “White-Markit”. Now Mike and Chris are friends, so one
evening he asked Chris and Alex Rickert, guitarist, from White-Markit, to sit in
and jam. Chris, Alex and several other members were the M.M.S. band “Phantom
Circus”. At P.H.S. they added two more musicians, then changed their name to
White-Markit. Well anyway, the jam went great and they decided to form a side
project named “OFF-SET”. White-markit disbanded and Chris is now full time frontman, with Alex on guitar in OFF-SET.
OFF-SET forms a new breed of defiant
underground rock, and searing heavy metal. Gaining momentum as they draw
support, they are certainly a force to contend with. The band is booking as many
shows as possible at future venues.
Currently, they are working hard in
the “Blast Room Productions” studio on an upcoming demo CD. Songs like “Without, History, Blue Prints, hear it,”
and “rewritten for you etc...” illustrate natural talent generated by
these four musicians.
Clips and merchandise will be online
soon, so keep checking the site!
