* Students involved in NYSSMA should have 2 copies of their solo

1) Solo piece- from NYSSMA manual
Level 1- 3 major scales one octave memorized, any tempo hands separately or together

2) Sight Reading- 8 measures
3) Scales-
Level 2- 3 major scales 2 octaves memorized, eighth notes, hands separately or together mm=72
Level 3/4- Play 3 out of 7 prepared major scales, three octaves, memorized, triplet eighth notes, hands together mm= 72
Level 5/6 - Play 3 out of 15 prepared major scales, four octaves, memorized, sixteenth notes, hands together mm= 92-112
