NOTTINGHAM - Was up late (early?!) last night playing cards with Cheryl and Shannon. I think we finally went to bed at 4 a.m., or was it 5? We might have gone on for longer if my behaviour hadn't been getting increasingly erratic. (I do that when I'm sleep-deprived. Heehee.) Oh well. Woke up bright and early this morning at 9 a.m., not quite sure why.

LONDON (the week before) - I arrived from London on Thursday evening. The bus ride was excruciatingly painful; for the first 2 hours I kept wanting to throw up because the idiot bus driver was alternately flooring the accelerator and hitting the brakes (due to heavy traffic). I was almost tempted to hijack the bus and take over. Eventually arrived in Nottingham in one piece. I forced myself to sleep most of the way. God, I'm going to have to go through the whole ordeal again on the way back.
